You have come to the right forum for this question, though I am not the one with the answer. I can tell you that the seller used the term "old" indiscriminately. The parent pattern of that knife, LB7, was introduced in 1979, and the "+" mark denotes stainless steel blade. That mark was, I believe, only used after 1974 or so. The LB7 production knife had impregnated wood "winewood" handles, but the pattern was used for years as a basis for special editions with a variety of handle materials, and blade etches as well. Larry, Phil, William, or one of the others will have a closer idea of the production date, so check back shortly.

That is a fine looking knife, and you are probably aware that Schrade is a good brand to own.

Do I have to answer this in spanish like the top part of the ad??? If so where is Don Luis? Lo siento yo no comprendo espanole . Apparently I also cannot spell it. The knife in question was made in the 1990 tys when this stag was used for a number of special issues the WW II series, The laser Macarthur edition and a bunch of others. They also had unmarked knives such as this one. Strickly speaking it is not old unless you consider 10 or 15 years old. 90 dollars is a bit high but not bad 50 to 75 is correct retail. If you bought this as an antique then once again I say Lo Siento. By the way it was made in Ellenville NY. USA The marking was the most current ( among the last) of all the Schrade markings. your knife as was mentioned is Stainless steel. Nice knife a dandy user and very pretty in a hundred years or so it will also be an antique. LT

He he, for a moment I thought that ebay could recognize that I was connecting from Mexico and put up a Spanish version of the page... Actually since you have to read English to understand the sellers description why bother to put some Spanish in?.

Welcome Xafar and enjoy your new knife.

Luis

P.S. LT, I think that through elocution and writing style you have won the right to spell English and Spanish any way you like.

I request them excuse to me my incorrect English, I am grateful for his attention
been grateful

Your English is much better than my Spanish, xafar. No need to apologize at all. And welcome again!

Xafar, your English is fine, solo estamos bromeando (we are just joking).

Saludos desde Mexico.
