Anyone have any info. On a limited edition lock blade
with genuine stag handles and nickle bolsters?
Blade is stamped schrade + usa ltd.
Who/what it was made for and when? Was it in a series?
The only one i found online was said to be made for
(rocky mountain elk foundation)
any info. Would be a great help.

We're going to need a picture. I have several Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Knives by Schrade (Fixed blades). I'm sure someone can help out

Does it look like this one without the FBI Etching on the blade and the scales of justice shield?

Nice knife Tom!
The stag looks like it was done by Herman Williams.

Thanks DaveT63 and thank you as well Dale. Not sure about whether Herman Williams had anything to do with this knife, but, now that you mention it...........it does appear to be alot like his work:cool:

I have two of these fellas.......going to have to do some more research and see

Thanks again gentlemen!

Can anyone tell me how to insert a picture?

Here are picture posting instructions. There is more ways than just this method. IF YOU NEED HELP, ASK!

POSTING PICTURES IN A THREAD USING PHOTOBUCKET:

Before you try to post a picture, take the time to upload your pictures to Photobucket. You can sign up for a free account at this site. This site makes it pretty convenient, but you may have to devote a little time to learning this as well.

http://www.photobucket.com

1) Upload or email your pictures to Photobucket:

2) Within the PHOTOBUCKET album, copy the picture's IMG CODE using CTRL-C (or RIGHT-CLICK COPY).

3) When you view your pictures in a Photobucket album, the IMG CODES are right under the thumbnail or you can open the picture and get the codes.

THIS IS A VIEW FROM PHOTOBUCKET

4) Then come to the forum, click on POST REPLY at the top of an earlier post, (or POST NEW TOPIC -- if it is a completely new topic; ALWAYS USE REPLY TO ADD A PICTURE OR REPLY TO AN EXISTING THREAD).

5) In the message window on a separate blank line, paste the URL into the file|open dialogue box using CTRL-V (or RIGHT-CLICK PASTE).

6) Notice there are brackets surronding the URL with image codes. Make sure the brackets are present. The brackets are right next to the letter "P" on the keyboard, should you have to use them.

Notice the /slash in the closing tag only. (Photobucket provides these tags). Now you can preview post you are working on. You can go back and forth to COPY and PASTE more pictures if necessary. I work with two separate TABS in Internet Explorer 7 or in FireFox. One with BladeForums and one with PhotoBucket.

You can adapt this to any acceptable image from the Internet that has a URL associated with it, and surround the URL ADDRESS with the correct IMG CODES.

GOOD LUCK!
