Schrade Walden 147

Does anyone know if the Schrade Walden 147 is full tang or if is it a rat tail tang?

It is not full-tang. They slipped sole-leather washers over the tang on the 147L (leather), and molded the Delrin plastic handle over the tang or slipped it on for the plastic handled version. The hidden tang is not round, but like a slender flat steel bar.
