So quite a fee years ago I found an old knife stuck in a tree. Tucked it away for a while and recently pulled it out. It's stamped Schrade-Walden NY USA 148. I had scraped the dirt and rust off and oiled the blade before I stored it. (It was stuck in a tree) The leather washers on the handle are in surprisingly good shape. Now for the questions. Some of the washers are missing, appears to have been taken off. End washer is plastic and is still present. However, the end cap is missing and the Tang is broken at the hole for the retaining pin. I would like some guidance on what my options are. If I can repair it I would like to use it as my belt knife. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
