Schrade Tang Stamp Chart
I hereby submit this to my fellow Schradians for educational purposes, discussion, and critique Do the font types look correct? The bottom 3 look like they the only ones with seriffed fonts? So In theory the COPE USA ones are worth more? SUPPLY and demand? Or, where they of inferior quality...www.bladeforums.com
Thank you, Sir.Nice knife! More desirable, as it is bone and not delrin. Looks like a nice survivor!
Thank you, Eric! The knife was carried over from the Schrade Cut. Co days and continuously made after the changeover in '47. They initially retained the old numbering system so it was the 2423 for a few years. From what I have here it looks like they stopped making it around 1963 or 64. There were a good number of different blade combinations for that frame so you could wind up with a nice collection of just that one pattern.
