I have this vintage Schrade Walden 41OT and have some questions. I have never seen a sheath like it and can not find anything about it.I don't know if the knife is rare appears to be unused. Thats a cool sheath! I would rub some neatsfoot oil on the sheath or Obenaufs leather protector.

Is the original box wood, or cardboard? This will help in dating the piece.
I just checked the catalogs and found this 41OT was only made from 1971-'73. The sheath looks original, but I don't see one in the catalogs with the hair on it. Must have been a special run for someone, maybe Sears.
