I picked this old dandy up not too long ago.

Made a good buy on it too.

Great snap, blades nearly full, and it takes that screaming sharp edge that the old Schrade 1095 is known for along with the thin grinds.

Very nice knife and I totally agree with you that Schrade 1095 just gets scary sharp!!!

Nice knife.

I picked up this 881Y at auction not too long ago. Also got what I thought was a good deal.

Nice patina, matchstrike pull, Schrade carbon steel. Big win IMO!

Some of my favorite knives in both the brown and yellow handles. And a prime example of Schrade at its best.

If I had to pick just one slip joint to carry, it would be one of them.

I have a few GEC's, and plan on getting some more.

I take spells of carrying them, but always go back to some of my old Schrades.

The 881 and 893 are perfectly sized and eminently pocketable.
