I read a thread by "Eric" from August 5, 2009. He had posted a memo about the Holud 249 Electrician;s Knife. It apparently was written by Schrade Walden. Unfortunately, the thread is so old the memo is no longer there. Does anyone have a copy of the memo or know who to get one?

A Google search might point you to a used on. It is hard to see what distinguishes it from the ubiquitous TL29, in all its variations. Is there something about it that interests you in particular?
Edit: used one.

Thanks Henry. Yes, I was curious about the Holub. I recently purchased a Holub 249 on eBay and was trying to find out some information about it. I found the old thread from 2009 but the memo Eric referred to was no longer available. Eric seemed to indicate the memo had a nice description of the knife and maybe some other useful information. I did try Google without success. Of course, I'm sure how to style a search. I'm not sure what you mean by a "used on." I was hoping someone might have a copy of that old memo. Anyway, thanks again your response is certainly appreciated.

Here is a link to the thread in question

Yes, that is the thread I was reading. Unfortunately, as you can see the attachments have a red X and can't be viewed anymore. It appears they refer to a memo and a letter. However, there are 6 attachments and it be great to see them. I recently purchased a Holub 249 and was trying get some of information about the knife.

It appears that most of Eric's posts are over in the Traditional forum.
It might catch his attention to post this question over there.

Bumping this up to the first page since I'm curious as all get-out to see the documents myself!
