Schrade Walden knife age

I found an old Schrade Walden knife that was my dads. I want to give it to my son with the appropriate info about it. It is Schrade Walden 148. N Y U.S.A.
About 9" long with 5" blade with leather sheath. The handle looks like antler with a metal end, and finger ridges/grips? I guess it had to have been produced between '48 and '73 when I've read that Schrade Walden was manufacturing knives, but can it's age be narrowed down any more than that?

Yes, it can be narrowed down. As noted this require photos. There's a very simple tutorial for this. I'd suggest moving this to either the Schrade or Traditionals forums. The Mods can do that for you.
