The 718 was listed as one of the "Razor Blade Stainless" series in 1967 and was priced at $5.50. Like others of that series, it had the identifying etch on the master blade, series name and a picture of a razor blade. They were last listed in 1975 for $7.50. I believe the predecessor pattern was the 708, same size and shape, same Clip and pen blades. Those harken back to the old Schrade Cut Co. #71085 3/4. In 1051, it was refered to as a serpentine pen knife. The 708 was last listed in 1977, though it's companion pattern, the 708B (black delrin scales) continued to be produced through 1989. The 104OT Minuteman was the same size and blade configuration. It was made from 1991 through the closing in 2004. Another offspring of the 708/718 was the shortlived Uncle Henry Gentleman Jim 706UH ( 1985-1988).

I cannot tell you the current market value for the 718, but if it is in the original packaging, the package and papers might help you to narrow the date of your particular knife. It would not have been made before the last date appearing there. Also if you can post pictures of the knife and packaging, I might be able to find a logo or other detail to help date it. (The Schrade Walden stamp indicates pre-1973 1/2)

Here is the #708 from the Open Stock:
