Schrade Warranty ?

Now that Schrade is sadly closed what will become of their excellent warranty department. Will it remain open using exsiting stock? Or are the knives now orphans. I purchased a 897UH yesterday as a farewell and was reading the insert and was wondering if I should send in the registration card.

more than likely, no company, no warranty. try to take care of them!!! You never know though, they may reorganize and be bought out, and knives may be available again.

More than likely though if it were to be bought out, the warrantly still would be invalid. Rarely does a company ever honor a knife made by its previous owners.
