Schrade Whittler Question

I'm curious to know - the Schrade Heritage Whittlers, which have visible pins in the bolsters, these were made in the factory this way, correct? Either by Camillus or post-Swinden key? Seems to me like split back construction might require a standard pin and not the Swinden key, but I really don't know enough about Schrade or Swinden/splitback engineering to know.

The 804's were never swinden from what I've seen. They were discontinued around 1975 and brought back for the 1980's heritage series. Not every post swinden schrade was swinden, the lockbacks and some others were pinned.
