If the thing has no sentimental value, there are many who'd buy it. Gonna make you rich? Not even close but those nice old American Traditionals have a following. Even with the broken tip, somebody would pay money for that. Because of the collectability of knives, this forum's rules forbid non-paying members for soliciting values of knives. I would guess that knife is in otherwise very good shape, somebody used it to pry open something small like of tin of something or other, snapped off a few milimeters of the tip, and tossed it in a drawer. If I owned it, I would just fix the tip with a file and carry on...literally.
In fact, a friend of mine from college had a knife not unlike that. Did the same thing, broke off the tip prying the metal plug out of a can of Coleman fuel. He said he had done that all the time and it suddenly broke. I asked him a few questions and in the end I repaired his knife by filing a little screwdriver tip on it rather than a new point. He continued to use that knife for years like a Swiss Army knife. Kept the sharp part sharp and used the tip as a screwdriver.
