The guy in the big brown truck was good to me today.:D He brought me a Schuyler Lovestrand fighter. The specs on this beauty. Apx 7" blade and a tad under 12" overall. Blade stock is 3/16" ATS-34. Scales are sambar stag. The tang is tapered and thin red spacers are under the scales. Balance point is right at the stainless guard. Both edges are hair popping sharp. You can't tell by the crappy scan(sorry bout that) but the blade has an excellent satin finish.

As for how it tested on the cutting dummy-lol, beats me this is one of my few knives that won't be used, though the knife dances in your hand begging to cut something. Fit and finish is the closest to perfection I have ever seen. Thanks to Mr Lovestrand for making a great knife and thanks to Arizona Custom Knives for having layaway. :D

Beautiful knife. He has a clean look that I constantly strive to achieve. He posts at the CKD if you ever want to talk to him.

Bob. Judging from the stag fillet I have from you and pics of your recent work I would have to say you are well on your way to achieving that clean look. I might have to post this knife over at the CKD and hope that Mr. Lovestrand see's it. I would love to hear his insights on this knife. IF I actually talked to him I would probably beg him to make me a sub-hilt to match. lol

That is one SCHWEEEEEEET KNIFE!! One has to see his work up close to REALLY appreciate it.
