I have a Camillus scissor knife, with turquoise and mother-of-pearl finish by Santa Fe Stoneworks. It makes a very attractive every day pocket knife... but the scissor spring is broken. Any ideas on how to get a new spring? Camillus won't send me one.

F Gordon,
We are trying to figure out the short and simple answer to your problem. The catch is that there was a couple of different versions of that knife you mentioned. One we can fix easy, one we will need to rebuild. I'm gonna be out of town tomorrow, but Phil will be on here tonite or tomorrow to help you. Either way, the knife is still very much under warranty, and we will stand behind it 100%. To speed things up, why not give Phil a call tomorrow at 800-344-0456[ask for Phil Gibbs], and he will expidite things for you. Sorry for the problem,.... we look forward to fixing it for you.

F Gordon,

If the scissors have a visable "V" shaped leaf spring that is pressed into a keyhole in scissor tang, then email me your shipping address & I will gladly ship one to you.

If however your scissor has a lever type spring actuated by one of the internal knife springs then you will need to ship the knife back to us for repair.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Phil
