Has anyone here ever made scissors? Do you know anything about the bend/twist angle? Thanks.

hy,

I never made scissors, have allready enough problems with forging knives :) . But, I recently obtained a great book on the forging of tools. If I recall correctly, the title is 'the complete modern blacksmith'. The forging of scissors is described, including the way to get the grind and angles correct. If you want, i can scan part of the book (it won't be more than 4 pages) and put them in an email to you. Just send me a mail and i'll reply with the attachments.

I thought that I was the only one who got this kind of project.
(give it to Eric he'll fix anything)

what you need to do is to go find a good pair and measure them very carefully. 2, or 3 pair would not be a bad thing.

that should give you enough information.
