I just got some scooters from a K-mart that was closing. How long are you suppose to charge the batteries?? Can you over charge them?? I can really use one because of my very bad leg. I got a very good deal on them too. I can’t afford to screw them up. Does any one know the answer to this question please help?? Email me at ginrickie1@juno.com

Richard - you might determine the manufacturer, and check them out online or give them a holler.

A friend of mine is coming over tomorrow to off load them from my truck. I will see if I can find out who made them for K-mart. If I can do that I am going to take your advice and do research on the net from there internet site. If I have one of them working which I think I do I am going to have to find the peace that fits into your truck receivers that allows you to load them to go to the stores with them.

I just got told that K-mart charges them over night so I am going to do that to and he said to take off the K-mart stickers on the back of them too so I am going to do that as well.

You should mod it to run off a 5hp Briggs & Stratton.

I just got done working at a Sears that closed and we probably used similar carts (as they're basically the same stores now). We left them plugged in whenever someone wasn't using them, including over night. The batteries on ours lasted a pretty long time, with customers zooming around on em for 2 hours at a time and they still came back with juice. It didn't seem to have any detrimental effect on the way they ran, so that should work for you. Contacting the manufacturers is probably a good idea anyways though.

I did one over night and then the next day I ran it up and down the street 2 times. It didnt slow down or stop. I have had the 2nd one charge for 2 days and that is because of the storms that we been haveing. I am going to ride that one up and down the street to see if the batterys are working good like the first one. now the third one the front tire is shit but I am going to charge it up and see if it will move in reverse. if it does the I will buy a front tire for it too.

You have 2? I think you should use the second for spares and just put it up on blocks in your front yard! ;)

I have 2 of them working. I have another one that the front tire is messed up big time and was gave to me for parts. I need to try to see if it will take a charge ant will it move backwards. if so then I am going to fint a front tire for it.
