I'd just sold off a couple of unused guns and I should have known better then to stop into my local gun shop with cash in my pocket. Well before you know I'm signing the forms for a Yugo, "Charles Daly" in 7.62x39.

The quality of the gun is pretty good and the wood is real nice. So here's the question, does anyone have experience/opinion on a scope for this? I'm figuring a 4 to 6 power fixed. I'll be shooting factory loads at 100 yds or less

I'd welcome some opinions.

100 yards or less, I'd get a 1.5 x 4.5 power scope. Maybe a 2 x7 power. Spend at least as much on your optics as you did for the gun and you'll be fine.

If you don't need magnification (you may not at up to 100 yds) think about a red dot sight. Just a suggestion. :)

Try the orange. The original flavor is a little too astringent.

Oh. Never mind.

:D

I use listerine, anyway.

an SKS is what ya are getting, right?? charles daly threw me........

if so i would put a red dot on it myself, something like a BSA, ie cheap, certainly nothing over 4X like one of the cheap chinese 4X w/mounts ya see all the time.
