I have an ultradot on my mark2 slab sided target model plus some custom grips from randall fung -- makes for very fun traditional target shooting.
The ultradot comes with nice aluminum rings but I am using the ruger rings. Given the machined in mnts for the rings, you can get it up and running in 30 minutes. I did find loctite to be necessary even on a .22.
