Went to a local tradeshow here in Norway today, and came across this sweet little thing. A 99% mint, never used, stored in a drawer all these years..
1982 NKCA commemorative Knife, Queen Cutlery model 49?
This thing is sweet, but not what I collect usually. But could'nt let it sit there like an Orphan..._20170812_235350.JPG _20170812_235350.JPG

Very nice, congratulations. It was calling to you the Sirens song. I predict it won't be your last stockman.

Probably not, but this one is to spesial to use, and I use all my knives...

I was looking at Queen NKCA knives last night on the Flea.
Most are selling for a very good price. $100.00+

Yours is the only one I have seen (to date) with the "Decade of Growth" motto.
Very nice!

I know they made a set that year, one from Case and one from Queen, it's picture on NKCAs homepage under knives commemorative..

That knife is a long way from home.

Very nice score. IMO the Queens made in the early 80's were great knives and it's a stockman in stag no less as well as National Knife Collectors Assoc. commemorative knife.

Yeah, totally unused, only wear is some minor scuffing on the bolsters, that Will buff out with some cloth and polish..

I'm really starting to like these vintage/unused knives.
It's easy to go to a site, and order any XYZ knife they have in stock but these vintage /unused knives are something special (IMHO).

Enjoy it my friend... Good health.
