...Well the "donor" 112 NS arrived from the gooser and I started working on a 442 drop point that's gonna have a new home in a NS and wood body...It's destined to have a mirror polish on it...It must not like the "rubbing" I'm doing to it to get it to where I can find that mirror finish and it BIT ME:eek:  ...LMBO...Got me good enough to put the "facelift" on hold for a few days...:jerkit: ...I guess being careful ain't an attribute I've carried over to "old age"...:D

...Here's some pics of the "donor" 112 from Buckaholic gooser Marv...that I'm gonna give a "face-lift" to when my finger heals...LOL...All in all it's not in real bad shape.

The blade's been sharpened quite a bit and it's also been somewhat shortened from use.

Here's some pics of the "donor" 442 that's gonna gve up it's blade for the "transplant"...I shoulda took some "before" pics of this one as the grinder marks were about the deepest I'd ever seen on any Buck knife...This is the lil' guy who gave a big "smile" to my finger while I was removing the grind marks...LOL...It WILL have a mirror finish when I'm done...

I will look forward to the final pics! (after your wound heals) :D
