SCORE! In 1988 my new boss/commader, Charley Higbee, gave me a Silva Ranger compass, when I signed into his unit. I carried and used that compass exclusively for 15-20 years but haven't seen it since. Thought it was lost forever. I emptied my walk in closet yesterday to clean and declutter. Found the compass in an old ALSE survival vest I picked up in 1998. Had forgotten about that vest. Happy camper here!
