That experimental model became the Calypso Jr. Great little knife that has a lot of dedicated fans on the forums. It is a pity that they ended up discontinued.

A plain edge micarta Calypso would have been sweet as a production, This thing feels ten times better that the Calypso does for some reason, I guess the weight and handle thickness just fits my hand well.

Good catch! I have 2 of those. My only regret is that they are not VG-10.

That's really cool, a beautiful knife you have there. I have the production micarta Calypso Jr. plain edge. It looks exactly like that but without the Rodeo writing decoration.
