[Sword and Shield]

Wandering through Anderson's today, I stopped by the knife case. Usually they are obscenely expensive, even with Chinese Wins. Schrade knives hadn't dropped a dime, even though Imperial Schrade is no more.

Until today.

Two 8OTs, boxed (One blue-jeans, one black and tan), 12.66 each.

One is going in the collection, one is staying with a very good friend.

Excellent find!

Had one myself Sunday at Dunhams sporting goods. A brand new Sharpfinger with no sheath. A simple request if they could do any better on the price let me buy it for $10.

Don't forget we still have the Sticky up top... if you find a local, or nationwide retailer that is now doing a final closeout on left over Schrades, let us know!

Are you talking the Ohio chain? I have checked the Columbus Andersons (Brice and Sawmill) and they still have a few Schrades left but they have not been discounted yet. I remember the Brice store has a 7OT, LB7, cliphangers, and some 152's and I think Sawmill had about the same. If they ever decided to discount them I wouldn't mind having a spare.

The one in Toledo had cut back some, but not all. The 8s weren't bad, but the lockbacks were just as high as ever.
