Hey all, just got this earlier today. I was at my local knife shop, shooting the crap with every like i usually do on saturday mornings, and low and behold, I see a hatchet in the glass consignment case. I played with it for a minute, and had to have it, plus, it was at a GOOD price. I had the guy there put a new edge on it, and shes good as new. The edge on it is absolutely ridiculous, it shaves my arm hair! Anyways, here are a few pictures for your enjoyment!

I have carried a small Wetterlings for years, when camping. I have always thought that Wetterlings offered the most bang for the buck.

YOU Dont just think they are the best bang for the buck...THEY ARE...you know it:D

With this, it will allow me to just need to carry a small knife in my pack for hiking and such, and not a huge chopper. Its good and bad at the same time. The good part is that I can look into getting a new knife, the bad part, is that now I need to find one in my price range. Anyone selling a good bushcraft knife?? lol...

Great score, I haven't had one myself but I've heard they are first rate!

Im moving today, but if i have time im gona post some close ups of the actual forging marks and heat treat, its beautiful. Right where the blade turns from black to silver, you can see this awesome rainbow effect where they tempered the edge. I also cleaned it up, using linseed oil on the handle and I cleaned and buffed the leather sheath, looks awesome now!
