For some reason I decided to get on craigslist and browse. I have had my eye on a pelican case for a while and found a 1620. It was brand new and never used, it was just a little dusty. Got it for $115! Under each layer of foam I put masonite and added paracord handles so I can take out each layer individually. I just cut a space the appropriate size and depth for each knife. Anybody else use a pelican case for storage? I am loving it!

I don't have one yet. I was contemplating buying the large suitcased size, but haven't done it yet. I'm torn between that and a tool chest I saw at Costco. I have enough handtools to stuff the tool chest to the gills though. I'm using the large Spyderpac and a couple of Kershaw knife bags, the rest of my knives are still in their boxes. I'll have to start thinking about this again soon.
