I found a Rat Trap folder on another board and nearly broke one of my fingers typing an 'I'll take it!". I have one of the original run which I've kept as a safe queen and this one I just purchased will be a user. This is by far and away my favorite folder and it fits my hand like it was custom made for it. Oh, and these things ain't cheap anymore either! :eek:

I've often thought about getting another one some day, but keep spending my knife money on the newer models of Busse family blades.
 
Same here, I scored an LE and when I got it I knew it was headed for the safe and I needed a user so I got one cheap back then since the seller said it had a scratched up pocket clip. It's much more scratched up now! Great find and enjoy!!!
 
Nice. I liked mine, but it didn't suit me best as a folder, so I sold it.

Well made and THIN. Wow thin! For the length, it was comfortable in my pocket.

Now I carry an Emerson Mini-Com. It's shorter and more stout feel to it.

There are days I wish I still had it. I got a good deal on it originally.
 
I got one of the first ones that came out and if I remember right it was about $150 with shipping from the swamp.
 
Nice score. I really like my Rat Trap. It was one of the first knives that I ever bought from the swamp.
