Scored my first Busse!!!

Well I belive it is all over for me, I will now be on an eternal diet of tap water and ramen noodles. I guess life is ruff when you are trying to feed an addiction!

First Busse: ASH-1

I haven't had a chance to get out and beat the crap out of it yet, but I can't wait!! This knife is awsome.

My sole Busse is also an ASH-1 CG. It will be much happier after its been abused - and I just like the look of a well-worn blade.

That was the first ASH-1 model I ordered also and it is the one that gets the most beatings too!! Skinny ASH-1 gets some attention too but my one ASH-1 sheath doesn't fit it as well.

Congratulations Snakedoc, that's a great choice for a first Busse! Funny thing is I nearly didn't get an ASH-1 - just wasn't sure I would like it. How wrong I was, it's one of the most comfortable, usable knives I have!

My Ash 1 that I picked up recently in trade got an immediate workout, butchering an elk. Which also gave me a great excuse to convex the edge afterward. Obviously I am not hiking up Mt. Everest with it, but I think the weight is perfect for the knife. Indestructible. Besides the elk, and some cardboard boxes, it has not had any other real use. Need to try it out doing some chopping and battoning.
