Scorpion III

This is a new one with the white coral collected on the beach in Miami last year!!!It was done like the small one I showed here some time ago!!
The blade is a Mattias Styrefors/Jonny Walker Nillsson blade of about 5" wit scorpions on it!!
The handle has a silver bolster,padauk spacers,white coral filled with powdered graphite and CA(Zap a Gap),thuya burl,and a piece of buckeye at the back!!

That is some very fine work. Do you ever have any problems with different expansion and or contraction of the different materials together ?

About your question about expansion or contraction I haven`t had problem yet!! But that is a possibility in all knives!!

I just finished the sheath!!Only the hanger missing,and I will do it soon!!
Some pictures of the sheath proces!!And finished!!
The back is plum tree wood!!The front uses same woods as the handle!!
