Scorpius and 50/50 choils

The more I look at the Scorpius the more I want one. The 50/50 choil looks bigger than on say the Native. Is it? How's the handle feel when gripping just the handle?

The more I use my Native or Calypso jrs the more I appreciate that feature. But I'm wonderin if the longer handled Scorpius would fit the hand better when not chocking up with the choil.
 
I like the feel of my Scorpius best when using the choil.:thumbup:

However, I just tried and you get a good secure grip without the choil as well.

I can wrap my pinky around the tail this way.

And I must say I have rather big meaty hands.

You absolutely won't regret buying a Scorpius. It has been my EDC for the past 4 days now.;)
 
The choil on the Scorpius is bigger than a native. It works but it doesn't fit my finger as snugly as a Native III choil.

I'm really happy with my Scorpius. I've been EDC'ing it for about a month. It's my work knife. I use the choil some of the time.... It's a great feel in the hand. I really like the SS knives better than other handle materials like FRN . My only complaint is that I got the 75/25 serrated and it makes it damn near impossible to sharpen that little, tiny section of PE. No worries though, that's my own fault. I'll still carry it when I get my Crossbill in a couple days. I ordered that in PE only. Now I'm going to have a wicked combination. :D

I had similar problems with my Police model but I like that little bit of straight edge at the tip. I'm gonna go with the serrated.

Hmm. Never thought about it like that but the Native's choil is a wee bit small for my fat fingers.
