Never hear anyone talking about the Scotch Dispenser...never see any pictures...nothin'.... Did anyone buy these or what happened to them?

Here you go. I don't personally have one, but I'm a freak when it comes to saving pics.:D

3" blade. They enjoyed some popularity among the modders.

I have a Scotch Dispenser, but it just hangs on the wall in my office and never gets used. It's an interesting design, but its not very comfortable in my hand. I think other people feel the same way. People bought them, but I don't think many use them much.
To be honest, the SD is my least favorite Busse. If you're considering getting one, I would order a Bear Cub instead. They WILL be very useful little knives.

No, not considering getting one at all. The Company Store has had them in stock for the past year...I don't think many people are (considering that purchase). IMO, the ergos are terrible; I can't possibly imagine cutting much with it. It might make a good letter opener, but the Shiva Rex would be better.

The Bear Cub, on the other hand...nice little piece of INFI there!!

I think if your hand is just the right size with the right amount of meat on it the SD would feel awesome. Unfortunately for me my hands are a little small and a little lean (unlike my belly as my wife is learning to remind me) so the SD is not very comfortable. The distance between the ring and the finger perch is a little too far.

Wow I love my scotch dispeser! I find it very comfortable for my hand (large) and very easy to carry.(sideways on belt with kydex sheath from company store). The only busse I carry everyday. Might buy another one.

I always thought that if I were to buy a Busse for the express purpose of modding it, I would have to do it to a Scotch dispenser.

I do think it's a very neat knife though!

Arne,
is that black sheath the one sold by Busse Combat Shop (made by Mashed Cat)?
Thanks,
Peter

I kept a Muddy and gave my niece, on the coast, a green one for St. Pat's this year. I can't seem to find many grips that are useful to me but the fact that it has a broad flat handle helps in some detail cutting and carving.
