Just picked one up and I like it !!Twirled it a couple of times and got cut a couple of times. Seems to twirl just one way, sharpened edge into my fingers. I want to take out the finger loop and make it into a choil. Will this invalidate my warranty or can I sent ti to Busse to be refinished?? The loop makes it really ugly looking. Anybody ever did this??

randucci has at least one example of a scotch dispensor with it's finger ring removed. It will void the warranty if the knife breaks as a result of your modifications. If the blade broke and busse determined that it didn't have anything to do with your modifications the blade would be covered.

You should be able to send it into the custom shop to have the finger ring removed since it's a really quick and easy mod. All aspects of the knife would be covered by the warranty if you go through the custom shop.
