I see a lot of blades on this Forum that have a Scotchbrite finish and I want to know how I could give a few of my BK s a Scotchbrite finish.

I make knives as a hobby, so normally I would say buy Scotch Brite Belts, but in your case, you can hand sand,

Start with sand paper, depending on the knife and surface finish you might need to start from different grits, and once you're around 600 grit, finish with a scotch brite pad.

It's usually applied with a belt grinder, basically, you grind to a clean 400 grit or so then run a 3M Scotchbrite belt over the blade. It's a fine satin finish. You could also do it by hand by working up through the grits with sandpaper then using a SB pad for the final finish. Look up how to do a hand rubbed finish, it explains the technique for sanding a blade by hand.

This. The grind lines would have to be removed to make it look semi descent.
