Every year my buddy throws an Oktoberfest party for all his Scottish friends. Many of us are also Germans, so lederhosen abound. Everyone brings German party food, ... and lots of beer. There is a fire pit out back and a crowd in his pub (yes he built his own Scottish pub over his two-car garage. There will be a keg of one of the local micro-brewery's Oktoberfest beer on tap in the pub, and a second keg of another type in an ice tub outside by the fire. The pub bar is stocked with more scotch than most commercial bars have. The rest of the house and front yard are packed with the spill over crowd, plus large coolers of bottled beer. Food is set out throughout the place.

A lot of the people who came, came by Uber ( which seems humorously fitting for a German party).

O'zapft is!!!

And you do know what that small pocket on the right side of your Lederhosen is for.
Traditionaly it is for your Nicker, the traditional (southern)German hunting knife / user knife :D

Meine Urgroßvater wore his pocket watch in his small pocket. I have that watch and wear it with my hosen occasionally.
