Just got a small bolstered Scott Cook Owyhee, man is it sharp!
smaller than I remembered them being, about the size of a small Sebenza
see the images below compared to Micarta Sebenzas that are visiting
me for a short while ;)

~~~~~~~~~wow~~~~~~~~~
Thanks :)
as nice as it is...I bought it on impulse :rolleyes: , something that I really need to try and control :o
So, I've placed that lovely Owhyee up forsale and it can be seen in this
Thread
I no sooner bought this, and then ordered a lens the following day or so
and really can't afford both, so trying to recoup things now, getting back
on level! sorta...
Wow, you photography is outstanding! Great lighting and background. BTW, knives are great too!
Thanks, the background is some wall paper from work, I saw that it had
a splashy mixed colours and figured that it would work nice as a soft
not distracting background, the guy hanging it had cut a piece wrong
so he handed me a nice big section, it's vinyl and fairly heavy duty.
That is a beautiful hand tool , very well made.
What kind of wood for scales ?
It is a very nice knife to be sure!
The wood on that one is Desert ironwood
it's a very shallow hollow grind, very nicely done, almost a flat grind, must
be a big wheel to grind it that way!
