Scott Cook's Damascus Lochsa

mcgreg - a beauty to be sure. Did you pick it up at the OKCA recently?

Yep. Got it in Eugene last weekend. Scott's table was pretty busy the whole weekend. That was the first time I was able to talk to Scott and his lovely wife. Nice folks.

Awesome score Mckgreg, I've got a plain (if you can call it that) Lochsa and I love it. Who made the damascus? And is it stainless? Also, do I see bronze accents on the thumbstud and pivot?

The ladder pattern damascus is a Devon Thomas creation. The thumb ramp is 14K gold. You are right about there not being a plain Lochsa. Ain't nothing plain about any of them. All of them are very nice indeed.

Greg, I sure don't mind looking at beauty and this one IS beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Dave

Scott was swarmed - I may have seen you. Picked the one below from Scott on Friday of the OKCA, but those damascus models sure were tempting. I had a chance to ask Devon Thomas about care and using of the Damascus, and he said it was a great using steel made from stainless steels and was relatively easy to care for.
