Hi Folks,

I recently acquired a Scott Hurst D2 tanto, and I've been trying to contact Scott for some information.

It's been about a month, and a couple of emails, with no reply. Is he still making knives?

Feh.

Sold it. The guy is a rude jerkoff who can't be bothered to take my money.

Bako, you may want to try again. I bought 3 knives from this guy in the last 6 months. Looks like he really just got the business up and running (he's Ironheart Blades these days). I'll wager your requests got lost in the pre-launch shuffle.

I shouldn't have called him names. But he should answer emails and friend requests.

I'm sorry, I had no idea who you were when you friend requested me. I had gone through a weird spell with some people I didn't care to talk to anymore and if I didn't recognize a name or a face on a FB friend request, I didn't accept. I haven't paid attention to the forums in a long time, so I didn't hear about this thread until someone just recently pointed it out to me. I'm not sure which email you were trying, but I didn't get anything. I'm a fiend about answering emails. It may take a day, but I never ignore an email.

Try my FB again and I'll accept. Or email me. I'm not sure the policy here, but it's my first two initials, ks, with my last name at gmail.

Shoot, I don't even accept friend requests from people I know, went to highschool with, or family members I'm not particularly fond of.

Scott is a great guy and an even better knife maker.

I have known him for over 9 years.

Great knives at great prices.

rude.. seems fitting. fly off the handle and then hide for cover.

edit: too vague... comment about BAKO, not the maker. Felt the need to clarify. :) BAKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
