Joe,

Thanks for the post. It was great to see you again.

Okay, here goes.

Puma - best handle design (desert ironwood)

Our understanding is that Scott's handle design was chosen as much (if not more) on feel as on looks, and this one does feel amazing in the hand - something a picture can't convey completely. Coop did a montage of this one, so maybe his pic will tell more once its posted.

Cottonmouth Blackout - best fighter

Again, I don't know that my pics do the knife justice because the way this one feels in the hand is excellent too. We were up against some amazing competition, so needless to say we were shocked that such an understated design won the category, but I think maybe field performance as a fighter had as much to do with the win as anything.

Those who handled the knives in person can certainly share their opinions.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

Congrats once again! And once again.. such a pleasure to get to know both you and Lydia...

Incredible work all around!

Thanks for posting the pics guys, I am really enjoying everything from the show.

I was able to handle the blacked out cottonmouth. It was by far the most comfortable handle Ive ever felt. The texture of the blasted micarta was great and the subtle angles were perfect. A fellow maker and friend of mine bith handled it and felt the same way. Truly great work.

Congrats Scott, and (lovely to meet) Lydia.

Well done!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
