I have one of those swords.
It is very light and quick, and it measures 59" long.

We have made several over the years. Kirby was warranted Clan Armourer to the Clan Fraser of Lovat by the 18th Lord Lovat, Simon Fraser, 24th Chief in 1979.

Here is one version from our website with decoration.

Quite "handy" weapons considering their size.

Laurie, out of curiosity, what does Kirby ask for one of his custom pieces? I am not in a position to order one, you understand, as I have only recently placed an order with Patrick Barta for one of his swords and am saving up the price, which is considerable.
