Here is a Bowie I just finished. This is the first time I have worked with Lignum Vitae, and let me tell you this stuff is crazy tough!
The handle is far more green than the pictures show. The blade is 8.25" 5160, with the OAL being 13.75"
The clip is sharp, but not quite razor sharp. I left some trace forge elements on the blade as this is meant to be a working knife.
The sheath is a scout style made from heavy 10oz leather, and is my first time making this style.
What do you think?

I forgot to mention scout carry is one of my fav ways to tote a blade in the woods

Only time it gets in way is if you have a heavy pack on but the carry options are so great you can just hook on pack

Nice rig

Thanks Joe, It definitely gives the user a lot more options to carry the blade, which means they would be likely to carry it more often.
For me being able to mount to my hunting pack, would be great.
