Hey guys. I made some belt loops for my esee 4 sheath today from nylon webbing. I had made them in hopes of making the knife sheath more stable when drawing and keeping the knife on a more even plane on my belt. I disliked having the paracord to secure it and the Molle locks weren't doing me much good either. Mounting the knife on my left hip leaves the handle sticking out of my shirt an awkward looking. Obviously same on the right side, even though I don't carry there. Right on the front by my buckle is easy to access, but I can't imagine I would be comfortable and it would be rubbing my buckle all day. So the only other option is scout carry or in other words, the small of my back. Does anybody carry an esee 4 or similar sizes knife in the Small of your back? Any advantages, disadvantages?
