So here is a method of attaching your sheath that is pretty easy to do provided you have some of the right hardware (which should be pretty easy to get if you don't).
Anyways, seeing the various scout carry leather sheaths, I adapted the idea to nylon straps with side-release buckles. Should work for most kydex or kydex-like sheaths. This also shows the now sandblasted handle scales Murph sent me.
Enjoy.
(Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.)
Anyways, used about 8 inches of 1" wide nylon webbing, and 1 side release buckle per strap, as well as 1 chicago screw post (1/4"), a finishing washer, and 1 8-32 phillips oval head screw 5/8" long. You could probably achieve the same thing with regular washers, but the finish washers look nicer.
I still need to attach something rubbery to the backside of the sheath to keep the whole thing from sliding around when I put it on my belt but if you put a strap on either side of a belt loop that works. Anyways, there you have it. Should be pretty adjustable for whatever width you need, and sits very low profile. I am sure this could be used on other kydex sheaths pretty easily, although I wouldn't use it with the BK2 since it is so heavy, although anyone who wants to is more than welcome to try.
