Scqc-8 vs cqc-8 help

I'm curious about the differences between the SCQC-8 and the CQC-8. Everywhere I look the specs show the handle size to be the same on both. Is the difference just the extra blade length and weight?
 
Super cqc-8

Overall Length: 10.2"
Blade Length: 4.3"
Blade Thickness: 0.125"
Hardness: 57-59 RC
Weight: 4.6 oz.


Cqc-8:
Overall Length 9.3 in.
Blade Length 3.9 in.
Blade Thickness .125 in.
Hardness 57-59 RC
Weight 4.6 oz.


Thats what I found, not really sure that the weight spec could be right .. Both the same 4.6oz ... Well eitherway hope that helps

Thanks guys! I just ordered the CQC-8 as the Super looked a little too large. I have an CQC-7V that I love, and now a CQC-8 and a CQC7aw-sf on the way. I'm on an Emerson kick, and I'm glad I gave them a try.

My CQC-8 is near CRK smooth.....Probably out of all my folders, my favorite.
 
Cqc8 is great but super isnt too big. It's a big knife but very useable for its size.

Yes. That is correct. The bottom one is a horseman or earlier called the mini cqc8.

Out the many models that EKI makes and if I was made to choose only one, the 8 would be it.

Thank you for all your input and for the pictures, it helped me to make my decision. When my 8 arrives tomorrow I can then determine if the super 8 will be next because I love the blade profile on the 8's. Thanks again to all who took the time to give their input, much appreciated.
