Is Respirene C, the handle material that Scrap Yard using a soft rubbery compound? I hate handles like that but I really want a Scrap Yard knife.

Thanks

Its not what I would consider soft.
It absorbs shock really good and has good grip but is pretty dense, about a step below tire rubber I would say.

The Res C on my DFLE and my Scrapper6 are the 2 most comfortable grips I have ever used, By Far!!!!

It's not very soft at all, but it does look ugly. It's a very good handle material, though, especially for very warm or cold weather.

Superb handles and im the same dont like rubber style handles but Rep c is amazing stuff.
Wish the handle on the DMDC was a inch bigger though.

Firm and comfortable. Standard ResC is not as grippy as you might think when dry, but grips like a mofo when wet. What you really want are the mudder ResC grips. Durable, grips well in nearly all conditions and very, very comfortable :) .

It will show wear going in and out of a kydex sheath...

A good sheathmaker (like Rainwalker) will take this into account though. ;)
