I order DM from them and expected it came today or tomorrow.

It did not. It turned out it is on hold. It is two days after I made it and nobody contacted me or something regarding the fact that there is some problem with my order.

How does it work? Will they contact me or what?
Does they work as fast as BCS? How long it takes them to ship?

I am surprised and confused...

Thanks, Vassili.

I like this pard of the order:
"If you have any questions concerning this invoice, contact us immediately:
Phone:
FAX:"

If there is a problem they will email you.
That is what happened when there was a problem with one of my orders....
Patti is very nice.

OK, I did post there, however it should not be this way.

But in case of BCS they contacted me right same hour in similar case.
And here I accidently find it out on second day?

Anybody deal with them before in similar situations?

Thanks, Vassili.

It was a limited release.....probably hit with hundreds of orders at once. Then they have to go through one at a time and process them. My guess is that you did not make it in the initial run, however.....some people have a moment of clarity after they order and "throw" some back after order is verified. Those who didn't make it in the initial run, then have a chance so their order isn't immediately canceled.

Scrap Yard is a different entity than Busse or the BCS.

So did you call the number or fax them....perhaps email Patti? I am sure they can give you a better response than any of us consumers.

But here I am answering a Scrap Yard question on the Busse Forum.......Red Chicklets to me!!!!

Nozh, patience is not thy virtue?

Gravelface, for shame! You must now utter 100 hail Busse's and 50 our father Boss Hog. :D

Oh, and send me some INFI for penitence. 'Course you could spend some reflective time in Swamp Purgatory. :p

You must do this or go to Scrap Yard He!! "D

Yeah... Where's my KNIVES????? :grumpy: :p :foot:

"Dogpile on the wabbit, dogpile on the wabbit...!" LOL :D:D:D

Sorry... Loony moment. It's over now! :D

Can someone who has order on CC check order status? Is it on hold also?

Thanks, Vassili.

Well, I guess I did not left it to letherman this time, until I find out what is going on.

Of course I am not leatherman customer right now, and will never be, but I am ScrapYard customer and have some questions.

Thanks, Vassili.

Vassili,

I don't think you should take offense, they are just kidding. The fact of the matter is that you are posting a scrapyard question in the Busse Combat forum, while they have one of their own.

General speaking orders from Busse Combat directly (not the Busse Company Store) take a while. Unlike the BCS they take orders then make/finish the knives. While Skunk (BCS) only sells what he has in his completed inventory. I assume it works the same with Scrapyard and since you purchased direct you should expect a wait, that's normal and not perceived as a problem around these parts. WHich is why most folks here are razzing you ;)

And you give you an example I've had production ordered knives takes months to arrive, we are use to it.

It is off topic, but leatherman is in my ignore list for a while now, but for sme reason he knowing this post on my threads again and again and again. Sometimes he had more posts in my thread then I did. I leave Swamp Rat forum because of him. I left him threads which I started and he take over... I don't know, it is very strange for me, so I doubt that he is "just kidding". He is working on this with some amazing dedication...

On topic - What I ask for is what experience other have with Scrap Yard, is it usual to have such delay or not. Does anybody else have their order on hold etc. Scrap Yard is related to Busse, reading this forum I found out that DM is available etc. So I thought I can ask this question here. After I have no replay from them. I post question on their forum when I was told that it exists. But I know many people from here bought DM this time, so I think may be someone has similar experience etc...

Thanks, Vassili.

C'mon, Vassili... I'm not trying to be a pain, It's late here on the east coast, & I'm just joking around... Didn't you ever watch cartoons when you were younger?? Bugs Bunny? Loony Tunes? That where the "dogpile on the wabbit" reference comes from. Please don't think that I'm trying to make fun of your questions, ok? I haven't even checked my CC to see if they charged me yet. Yes, I'm waiting too. Try calling Patti tomorrow (later today) at the Yard, I'm sure she'll answer your questions.

P.S. I remember when I was very young watching "Mighty mouse" - never heart about it after that.

I'm going to lock this one down boys because it concerns Scrap Yard and has gone fairly far off of the beaten path.
