Scrap Yard Knives

I was wondering if Scrap Yard knives is still in business? I have tried to check out their website for several months with no luck. Did Busse just start making their designs with SR-101 instead of using Scrap Yard as a third division?

They are still in business, their regular site is down but the discussion forums are up. Still activity going on there and Dan posted not too long ago that they are working on some new designs.

Busse has been focused on "Operation Two Weeks" with all divisions participating, I think... Recent Scrapyard models have all had SR101 steel just like Swamp Rat, but Busse Combat started offering it as a "Battle Grade" lower cost version of certain models. Busse Combat, Swamp Rat, and Scrapyard are all still in business. :thumbup:

Buses did make some knives with SR-101, but they still make them with INFI.

Scrapyard is still around and they will use SR-101 also, but use SR-77 and INFI.

I would like to see more SR-77 also, its been a while since SY made an SR-77 blade.

I can't even remember the last one they made, most of the yards knives have been made of SR-101 lately, hopefully they will make more from INFI too.

Last SR77 blade was the MountainManDu, but that came from the Swamp rather than the Yard (not my pic):
