Visiting a buddy that I gifted a 1111 to years ago. Asked me what happened to the company, and what he should do if the knife breaks. I told him to call Busse if the knife breaks, but I didn’t have an answer for the other...
 
I managed to destroy an 1111 a couple years ago. Called Busse and sent it in. They didn't have any blanks left at the time, so I received a full shop credit on it. They were recently in production again and available on the site though, so there's a chance they could replace it if something happened to your buddy's in the near term.

There haven't been many new Swamp Rat and SYKCO blades recently, but they do still drop. For SYKCO, the Dog Soldier 6 and 8 in INFI were big hits. I grabbed a DS8 myself.
 
Yep, both The Swamp and The Yard are still there, both a subsidiaries or sub-components of Busse Combat and are produced in the same facility. They still put out blades under both those families as well. There is no concern to be had around warranty and such.

Op2W has, at least temporarily changed the way Busse offers knives, love it or hate it there are more more knives coming out of the Ohio Compound ;) that ever seen before I believe.
 
Both companies are rolled into the busse shop now probably standing in large piles of micarta and g10 dust trying to pump out the backlogs of op2w items
 
Man you just missed the mountainmandu! A 10 inch ratmandu on steroids! They just started shipping!
 
It might not be too late to get in on the waiting list for a Mountainmandu. With all of the options offered, someone surely cancelled at least a few. The only time I did this, I got what I wanted.

I would like to see the appearance of Dan Busse ; he has been missing in action for a long time now.
