Scrap Yard knives

I'm thinking of getting a SY dumpster mutt, I own a couple RAT knives and a Swamp Rat, how do the SY knives compare? Are they a hard use knife?

Best blades for hard use, period.
I have 6 and have beat them with hammers through nails, chopped ice, thrown them, skinned several deer etc.
Sr-77 is easy to sharpen and holds an edge really well.

They pretty much define hard use.

Lifetime warranty, something I would trust to do the job,

I couldn't be happier with my Scrap Yard Knives. If you have the opportunity to pick one up then get it!!!! I have given my S6 a working over for about 3 years now...
Dogfather LE / Okuden Kydex...

Don't forget the warranty, I had a Dogfather that I miraculously broke and ScrapYard changed it without any question...:thumbup:

Its got a real small handle and is blunt as it gets but everything else said is true.
If i had a choice id get a Bravo 1.

You must have a DCDM.

Notice: there are two sizes of the standard scrapyard handle.
One is used on the DM and the Yardkeepers, the other is used on large fixed blades like the dog father and scrapper 6.
The one on the large fixed blades have plenty of room, even for my big paws.

Any Scrapper would out live any BRK&T.

You can't go wrong with a knife made by SYKCO. I have a Yard Guard, and it's the hardest use knife I have.
