Just curious but how many Scrap Yard knives are made when they run limited edition? I have been looking for a for a Scrap MUK and was just wondering how many were out there? I got a lead on one for $150 claimed new but am apprehensive to pull the trigger since I have seen them go on the sale forum for $135. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry... once you get into the Busse-kin madness the extra $15 bucks will seem like pennies.

If you hang around long enough you'll be buying knives at four times that price, shooting $2000+ 1911's and drinking scotch that costs more than the first Busse-kin knife you bought.

If you want it... buy it! Christmas is just around the corner, after all... and if you don't buy it for yourself the odds are you will forever languish without the gift you REALLY wanted... go for it!!!
(you really didn't expect anyone here to talk you out of it... right???) :D

I bought mine a few months ago new for $175 with Buy Brown kydex - so that puts the muk at about $135 alone. It was absolutely, 100% worth it. Its an excellent knife.

$150 sounds a bit steep with no pants... With that said, they dont come up too often...

You many want to put a "Want to Buy" ad in the exchange.

Well I pulled the trigger. Knife no sheaths $150 kdstrick is rights whats $15. Guess I need to get a sheath now. Leather of kydex thats the question. Oh yeah the MUK is LE#5. I think that was why I just had to get it.

Soooooweeeet! Beat it like a rented mule and let us know how it holds up. I'm curious about the edge retention on the 154 with the Jerry heat treatment.

Congrats and welcome to the madness... Scrapyard knives are a gateway drug to more expensive busse's...

The Scrap Muk can take a beating pretty well.... love mine!

Mustardman it was your pics that made me want one even more. I plan to make it my primary hunting knife but I think a horizontal carry rig will make it an after work edc. I think I will need to get a vertical carry too maybe a chuddybear rig. Damn I can see the money going quickly. Almost flyin out of my pocket. I think the first thing will be to convex it though. I picked up a scrapper 6 a while ago and it cuts like a chain saw an it was heavily used before I go it. That convexed edge is a beast.
