Got my Skinner today and thought people might want to see a few pics.

Here it is with my Howling Rat and Winkler Belt Knife...







Tips with the Skinner in the center. The tapered blade is the Winkler...



The Skinner will be off to my nephew in Japan for his birthday. We'll see if it's tough enough for a Marine!! ;) :)

It's nice...kinda wish I got one for myself now! :eek:
 
Your nephew is going to enjoy that one. Looks like it would be great in the field.

Thanks guys. I think it will do well for him- sr101 toughness, looks to be a good cutter...and the right amount of mean with that bad upsweep! I like the rs-c for the decreased weight as well.

He was home on leave in the fall and liked the mudder handle, so I think he'll be pleased. Just found out he's floating around Japan/Korea for the next month and a half...time to score a sheath for him too!
 
Be careful sending it to Japan. They have seriously strict knife laws, a 3 inch blade limit if memory serves. Thank him for his service!
